Rebecca Richards

Director of Content and Interpretation

Rebecca leads the content development and interpretation consultancy services within Cultural Innovations. She has delivered interpretation projects at two Smithsonian museums in the USA, the Kanoo Museum in Bahrain and the Global Center for Arabic Calligraphy and Al-Ahsa World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia. 

Rebecca has a BA in archaeology and anthropology, an MA in Egyptian archaeology and 25 years’ experience in bringing history, science, art and heritage to life for diverse audiences.   

Before joining CI, Rebecca led the interpretation on projects at the British Museum, Science Museum and Tower of London - including permanent galleries, temporary and touring exhibitions, historic site interpretation and major art installations. She was also Interpretation Manager for the British Museum’s consultancy to the Zayed National Museum in the UAE.
