Georgia was one of the first countries in the world to adopt Christianity.  Through centuries of being ruled by foreign powers, Georgian Orthodox Christianity became the most important unifying institution and a key part of Georgian identity.  The Museum of Georgian Christianity is being developed in the east of the country near Sighnaghi in the Kakheti region.

Cultural Innovations was appointed by the Tsiskari Foundation in 2013, to develop the content and storylines for the nine galleries within the museum.  We also led on the business, operations and governance planning, together with the early stages of the museum’s fundraising strategy, for what will be the first major private museum in the country.
