The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) will be both a world heritage asset and a national symbol of 21st century Egypt.
Cultural Innovations’ first engagement with the project was between 2004 and 2007. We provided all museological advisory services for the development of the exhibition masterplan for the 56,000 m₂ of exhibition space that will house 100,000 ancient Egyptian artefacts including the entire Tutankhamun collection.
In 2016, Cultural Innovations was appointed on a second engagement as client technical advisor for the governance, organization structure, staffing, business planning, operations and programming to prepare the museum for its partial opening scheduled for late 2018.
