The Migration Museum Project aims to tell the story of migration to and from the UK, in a fresh, engaging and non-political way that is accessible to everyone. Germans in Britain was one of the project’s first attempts to demonstrate how a migrant community has influenced the UK’s institutions, culture and way of thinking.
Germans in Britain was a special, touring exhibition that revealed the intricacies of a complex relationship that is often overlooked or taken for granted- the relationship between Germany and Britain- one of the most striking and profound in our history.
Cultural Innovations designed a concept that explored the use of shipping containers as an exhibition space across the three broad themes of Commerce, Culture and Knowledge, together with a marketing brochure to assist in fundraising activities.
