Baku White City Museum will be the cultural anchor at the heart of White City’s urban regeneration. Located within a large mixed-use building including retail, F&B and offices, the museum will engage visitors with the rich industrial history of Black City whilst also showcasing the innovation and creativity of Baku, from art to architecture, and the evolving, sustainable future of White City.
Strategy:
Cultural Innovations were appointed to develop the strategic positioning and curatorial strategy for the venue. We worked with the client to define the purpose, vision and curatorial focus of the museum that will ensure its relevance for diverse and future audiences.
Architectural Brief:
Cultural Innovations developed the area schedule and architectural brief for the new institution, making recommendations for visitor flow, adjacencies, functional and operational requirements and technical standards and requirements under a unified vision.
