Laura has a strong academic background in art history, museum management, museum policy and strategies and project development. She is also an expert researcher and has lectured on 21st century museum trends at the London Metropolitan University. She joined CI in 2007 and has been working on several museum and heritage projects in Egypt, Singapore, China and the United Arab Emirates. In November 2008 Laura was elected board member of the International Council of Museums (ICOM UK) where she leads the advocacy and partnerships working group. ICOM has formal relations with UNESCO.
