The RNLI plans to develop a new family-friendly museum at its headquarters by the sea. The museum will re-engage the public with the fascinating and important work of the RNLI. The project will involve moving the RNLI’s large historic collection of lifeboats from its present location in Chatham Historic Dockyard to the new museum in Poole. Cultural Innovations has been commissioned by the RNLI to develop the new museum’s storylines and interpretive concept, working closely with the client team to discover the institution’s stories and collections.
