DBA were appointed at the end of March 2004 by NHM to provide Project Direction services to manage the definition, development and delivery of this major temporary exhibition that opened in July 2005. The project included extensive architectural and engineering study leading to major alterations to grade one listed interior including heritage grade repairs and installation of modern infrastructure to create improved temporary gallery space for long term. CI-DBA managed both the in-house teams and the external consultant teams.
CI-DBA managed the negotiation of loan objects, their secure transportation, conservation, mounting, object handling and insurance.
