National Art Gallery of Singapore
Singapore
Cultural Innovations has been appointed to develop a functional brief for the National Art Gallery of Singapore. This new gallery is currently being designed and will be housed in two heritage buildings - the former Supreme Court and the City Hall. CI is working in close collaboration with the architects and client team to define the spaces required for the gallery, how they will be organised and connected to each other, and the types of technical requirements needed by each space. In doing this, we are taking into account the different needs of staff, visitors and artefacts. We are working closely with project stakeholders and are carrying out a range of consultations with professionals, policy makers and potential users to guide is in developing this piece of work.
