Cultural Innovations provided all museological advisory services for the development of the Grand Egyptian Museum, situated next to the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Working in joint venture with Metaphor, Cultural Innovations advised on the development of the exhibition masterplan for the 25,000 m2 of exhibition space as well as briefing services for a new conservation centre that will prepare 100,000 artefacts to be displayed within the museum and become a regional centre of excellence.
As part of our role we developed a set of toolkits that will enable local and international design teams and suppliers to contribute to the exhibition design to unified standards.
