Cultural Innovations were appointed by the Natural History Museum to manage the production of the Interactive Media and Audio Visual exhibits for the Darwin Centre 2.
The Darwin Centre, which opened in September 2009, has three main aims: to provide state-of the-art storage for millions of useful specimens, to provide new research laboratories for scientists to study them and to provide views and insight into this working science facility to the public.
The Attenborough Studio is a fully automated 75-seat fully digital live presentation theatre with broadcast and video-conference facilities. Each seat has custom developed handheld PC that can be used in audience response, video conference and interactive film presentations.
