Darwin Centre 2, Explore and Atrium
London
Cultural Innovations were appointed by the Natural History Museum in May 2008 to manage the production of the Interactive Media and Audio Visual exhibits for the Darwin Centre 2.

The Darwin Centre which opened in September 2009 has three main aims: to provide state-of the-art storage for millions of useful specimens, to provide new research laboratories for scientists to study them and to provide views and insight into this working science facility to the public.

With their interactive media production partners Cultural Innovations have provided media software for 40 interactive exhibits and managed separate audio-visual installation contracts for the Cocoon tour. The Cocoon Exhibits support personalization via a barcode ticket to provide emailable and downloadable content via the museum’s Nature Plus personalization database.
