Cultural Innovations was appointed to develop a functional plan and brief for the National Gallery Singapore. This visual arts institution is located in the Downtown Core of Singapore and incorporates two national monuments, the Old Supreme Court Building and the City Hall.

Working in close collaboration with the architects and the client’s team, we carried out the functional planning of the new spaces, together with detailed consultations with all stakeholders. In addition, an international best-practice comparative analysis was undertaken.

The new 60,000 m² venue opened in November 2015.
