Located in the heart of this historic city, close to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Mosque of the Prophet), the Madinah Visitor Welcome Centre was designed to be a friendly and informative experience for visitors. As they travel through the spaces, visitors would experience the sights, sounds, smells and spirit of Madinah and be immersed in content-rich multimedia installations that will tell Madinah’s story and express the essence of the city. 
 
Cultural Innovations has developed three distinct areas, namely: 

• Madinah – Past, Present, Future: how Madinah has changed since the time of the first settlers and the city’s progressive development today

• Madinah and the World: how Madinah has influenced the world and how people from other countries and travellers to Madinah over the centuries have contributed to its spirit, knowledge and development

• The Prophet’s Mission and Legacy: the story of the Prophet will be uniquely set in the context of Madinah’s environmental and archaeological heritage.

The Madinah Welcome centre has been designated a ‘flagship’ project by the Governor of Madinah.
